The Health Guardian project began in December 2019 in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, China, and is still in the implementation phase. The design team, consisting of Cao Weizhi, Ni Shan, Zhang Anzhen, Cheng Hong, Zheng Shuwen, Yang Donglin, Tang Zihui, Gong Xiaoqian, Li Jiahui, and Yan Jiahui, has dedicated extensive research and development to create a product that addresses the common issue of damp and unhygienic bathrooms.

The Health Guardian has received recognition for its outstanding design and functionality. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Bathroom Furniture and Sanitary Ware Design category in 2021.
